It's normal to have questions before arranging an appointment. If you don't see your question here, you're welcome to reach out.
I offer a complimentary initial consultation to discuss what you're looking for, answer questions, and determine whether my services are a good fit for your needs.
As my schedule varies between private practice and professional commitments, appointments are arranged individually rather than through open online booking.
Please reach out by email or phone, and we can explore current availability and next steps.
When you get in touch, please include only basic contact details and a general sense of the support you're looking for. Email is not a secure channel, so please don't include sensitive clinical information in a first message.
Session fees range from $75 to $300, depending on the type of service and length of the session.
I offer individual counselling, couples counselling, coaching, and specialized services, with fees reflecting the nature and duration of each appointment.
All fees are discussed and confirmed in advance so you know what to expect.
Critical Incident Stress Management (CISM), organizational consultation, professional training, and workshops are quoted individually based on the needs and scope of the service.
Direct billing is available for eligible insurance plans, depending on the insurance provider and individual plan coverage.
Clients are responsible for confirming their coverage and for any portion of the session fee not covered by their insurance provider.
Your appointment time is reserved specifically for you. If you need to cancel or reschedule, please provide at least 24 hours' notice.
Cancellations or changes made with less than 24 hours' notice, as well as missed appointments, will be charged the full session fee.
Please note that cancellation fees are generally not eligible for insurance reimbursement.
Yes. I offer a complimentary initial consultation so we can briefly talk about what you're looking for, you can ask questions, and we can determine whether my services are a good fit for your needs. There is no obligation to continue afterward.
Please reach out by email or phone. My availability changes between private practice and other professional commitments, so appointments are arranged individually rather than through open online booking. We can explore current availability and next steps together.

No. First responders and frontline professionals are an area of specialization within my practice, but they are not the only people I work with. Counselling with individuals and couples remains the primary focus of the practice.
Absolutely not. You don't need a diagnosis, crisis, or major life event to benefit from counselling. Sometimes people come because something is clearly wrong. Sometimes everything looks fine from the outside and they simply don't feel fine. Both are valid reasons to reach out.
The first session is an opportunity for us to get to know one another and begin understanding what brings you in. You don't need to tell your entire life story in the first hour. We go at a pace that makes sense for you.
There isn't one schedule that works for everyone. Frequency depends on what you're working on, what feels manageable, and what makes sense clinically and practically.
That depends on what brings you in. Some people come for focused support around a specific situation. Others choose to work more deeply on longstanding patterns or experiences. My goal isn't to keep you in counselling forever. It's to make the time we spend together useful.
Confidentiality is an important part of counselling. Information shared in counselling is kept confidential subject to professional, ethical, and legal limitations. These limits will be reviewed as part of informed consent before counselling begins.

Please contact me directly by email or phone. CISM, organizational consultation, and training are arranged separately from individual counselling and are scheduled according to availability and organizational needs.
Counselling may address mental health concerns, emotional distress, trauma, relationships, psychological symptoms, and experiences from the past that continue to affect you today. Coaching is non clinical and primarily focused on personal development, clarity, goals, accountability, decision making, and forward movement.
Reach out and I'll help you work out the right next step.
